An Exhibition of Four Japanese Artists
10/2(土)-10/31/21(日) The Lace Mill Gallery
The Lace Mill Arts Council presents an exhibition of four Japanese artists, Kazuma Oshita, Masao Gozu, Kiyomitsu Saito, and Asako Yamada, starting October 2nd through 31st. Opening Reception is October 2nd from 5 to 8 PM at The Lace Mill Galleries, 165 Cornell Street, Kingston NY.
This show was put together at the last minute, after the curators Kazuma Oshita and Youko Yamamoto found out that the scheduled art show needed to be postponed. Youko and Kazuma called their artist friends and they all stepped in immediately. Asako Yamada will show her powerful arts of words – calligraphy, the words from Heart Sutra. Kiyomitsu Saito will exhibit his life long work – ironic and humorous line drawings. Masao Gozu will exhibit his nostalgic photographs of NY city windows. Kazuma Oshita will show oil stick figure paintings and his hammered sculptures.
The opening reception will be held on the first Saturday, October 2nd from 5 to 8 PM. Gallery hours after opening reception will be Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4 PM. Masks are required and provided if you don’t have one. Parking is available on S. Manor Ave. and Progress St.
